HS-001 Semi Automated Plate Heat Sealer

The GenFollower Semi-Automatic Plate Heat Sealer HS-001 precisely seals a variety of heat-seal films to prevent sample loss from evaporation or leakage during assays or storage. It is widely used in gene-amplification workflows, blood-sample cryostorage, public-health testing and reagent-kit production.

High compatibility

• Sealing pressure is adjustable to suit real-world conditions, so the HS-001 works with a wide range of microplates and films. For example, PCR plates, deep-well plates, ELISA plates and cell-culture plates.
• The heat sealer could adjust various consumable pressure heights.

High precision

• The heat sealer is controlled by a microprocessor, which delivers accurate, repeatable seals. And a well-balanced sealing plate ensures uniform sealing across the plate.
• Sealing temperature and sealing time can both be precisely adjusted, in 1 °C and 0.1 s steps.

Fast, controllable heating

• The sealing plate temperature is adjustable and can rise from ambient to 200 °C within five minutes.
• An independent heating switch lets you perform cold sealing when required.

Energy saving

• An automatic standby function reduces power use: after 30 minutes of inactivity, the unit drops to 60 °C; after 60 minutes, it enters a deep-sleep mode.
• In deep-sleep mode, the display is turned off and the heater power is cut, with only core electronics remaining powered — tap the touchscreen to wake the unit and resume operation.

Recommended accessories

• Cuttable PCR plates and cuttable seal foil are recommended for optimal sealing results with the HS-001.
