Product Details

GenFollower® cellulose acetate (CA) syringe filters are made for reliable preparation of aqueous biological samples — including proteins, enzymes and culture media — and are widely used in clinical analysis, sterility testing and scintillation counting. The hydrophilic, low-protein-binding CA membrane preserves sample recovery while maintaining steady flow rates, making these filters ideal for routine laboratory filtration.

  • Available in 0.22 um and 0.45 um pore sizes.
  • Compatible with standard Luer syringes, ensuring a secure, leak-free connection.
  • Better solvent resistance than ordinary cellulose membranes, especially to low-molecular-weight alcohols (e.g. ethanol, methanol). Also, more heat-stable and mechanically stronger.
  • Gamma-sterilised syringe filters are available to reduce contamination risk.
  • Supplied in canned or boxed packaging.
  • Each filter is clearly printed with the pore size and colour-coded, making it easy to identify.
