Introducing our new cellulose acetate (CA) syringe filters in 0.22 µm and 0.45 µm pore sizes — ideal for biological sample preparation. Unlike PES and nylon membranes, CA is hydrophilic and exhibits low protein binding, enabling high recovery of proteins, enzymes and cell-culture media as well as other aqueous biological samples.
The filters are compatible with Luer-style syringes for straightforward laboratory use. Pore size is printed on each unit and colour-coding is applied to help quick identification during experiments.
